Welcome to LinkMovie (the “Site”), a set of browser-based movie connection games created by Giant Dodo. Your privacy matters. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

LinkMovie is designed to be simple and privacy-friendly. We do not require registration, and we do not collect personal information such as your name or email address unless you choose to contact us directly.

• Local data: Game state (daily progress, selected mode, and similar) may be stored locally in your browser (localStorage). This data stays on your device.
• Anonymous analytics (optional): We may use anonymous analytics to learn how people use the site (page views, number of players, popular pages). These analytics do not identify individuals.

2. How we use information

Any non-identifying information we collect is used to:

• Maintain and improve the games and site performance.
• Diagnose and fix bugs or technical issues.
• Understand general usage patterns so we can prioritize improvements.

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise monetise personal information.

3. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of third-party services to provide content or infrastructure:

• TMDb (The Movie Database) — used to fetch movie and actor information and posters. We use TMDb’s public API; LinkMovie is not endorsed or certified by TMDb.
• Analytics / Ads (optional) — services like Google Analytics or Ad networks may be used; when enabled they are configured to collect only non-identifying, aggregate data. Please refer to each provider’s privacy policy for details.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use localStorage and/or small cookies only to remember game-related settings and daily progress on your device. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings — doing so will reset your saved progress.

5. Children’s privacy

LinkMovie is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Data retention & security

Data stored locally in your browser remains there until you clear it. We take reasonable steps to protect any server-side data and follow standard security practices, but no online service can be 100% secure.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of the page.
